ANIPES takes part in the accreditation of member institutions
On 2 June 2025 a high-level debriefing was held on the infrastructure assessment report covering a number of Cameroon’s private higher education institutions. The assessment forms part of the accreditation process led by Gabon’s National Scholarship Agency (ANBG), enabling Gabonese students to enrol in accredited institutions across the sub-region.

Key outcomes
- 01Selected institutions may host Gabonese students under standard scholarship programmes or special Gabonese government programmes.
- 02Each selected Cameroonian institution will also sign partnership agreements with Gabonese institutions to strengthen collaboration.
- 03On 12 June 2025 ANBG formally signed a partnership agreement in Libreville with several Cameroonian institutions, under the CEMAC Sup programme.
- 04Objective: give Gabonese students better training opportunities in high-demand fields, strengthen employability and promote academic mobility across the CEMAC sub-region.
Outlook
The first cohort of Gabonese scholarship students is expected in Cameroon for the 2025/2026 academic year, marking a major step forward in regional academic mobility. The initiative reflects ANIPES’s standing commitment to supporting its member institutions and advancing sub-regional integration through higher education.
